M-Audio makes nice shit. I've had my Delta 44 for years now and I love it. I'm gonna get one of the firewire cards soon for my live rig. As to laptops, look at www.powernotebooks.com Acer and Sager both have some killer deals through them. I'm personally looking into building my own rig with dual Xeon 3.6Ghz. CPU's and 15k rpm SCSI hard drives. It would be a rackmount server type PC, but if you ask me, it's worth it. This machine will have twice the cpu power and twice the drive speed of the best laptop on the planet. just something to think about. otherwise I'd go with a laptop from powernotebooks, something with a P4 extreme. -WEsley --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
