Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm somewhat ashamed to say no.  I looked through trying to find a
workaround, but I can't think of one that's reasonable.  The only thing
I could suggest is to work 32 bars at a time in pattern mode, then use
"Combine Selected Tracks to Clipboard", then paste that into your song.
 If you need to go back and edit something, copy up to 32 bars from the
song and explode onto an empty patter, edit, then perform the above
steps.  Though, now that I've mentioned it, that's a fantastic way to
flatten internal only patterns *into* your song...
