Re: [xl7] Changing preset sounds in songs;Help!

2004-06-04 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Sounds like you have the song set to use Pattern events and not Song
events. Go into the Song edit mode and got to the Event Source screen.
Scroll the lower display until it says Preset, and change the second field
to "Song Events Only". However, if you have more than one pattern in the
song with different Presets, this will over-ride those settings too. In
this case, your best bet is to go to the section of the song where you
want the new Preset, press Pattern to access that Pattern, make the preset
change, resave the Pattern, and then go back into Song mode.

Hope that helps!

I can't seem to change a preset sound in a song
Lets say I change a drum sound in the song and press save etc.
on playback it just reverts back to the original sound
Can anyone help me on this one?
