Note that the XL-7 starts to load patterns as soon as they're selected and it plays the initial settings. If some of the patterns along the way to the one you want are set to both or external, they could be transmitting to your gear. > 2. Is this why > I should save a multisetup next to a pattern? I'm not sure I understand this one, but it might be related to the above item. If 000 is empty, and you select 122 (which sets up the presets for 122) then back to 000 (which still has no data), you'll be left with the presets from 122. If you want to have an initial buch of settings to start off with when you have a blank sequence, that would be a good use of a multisetup. > 3. Global settings as Mix Output aren't remembered. Mix output and FX settings should be saved with the pattern for every track that has notes or other data recorded on it. > 4. Might you have some sort of midi loop? What does your setup look like and what are you trying to do? -Aaron
