Answer to question 1. The preset banks are different. The good news for
you is you can download all of the XL-1 banks from our web site,
emu.com. Go to the Xl-7 page and then to downloads.

Question number 2. Of course not. The Xl-7 is a current product and will
continue to get lots of support. You have made a wise purchase.
