Note to everybody!  The XL-7 saves information only for tracks you've
recorded on!  This means that unless you have put some notes or other data on
a track, it doesn't save that track's state.  This is so the XL-7 isn't
always sending out a flood of midi data every pattern change.  It only sends
out what it needs.
