Re: [xl7] Re: Saving patterns

When you switch back to Pattern 000-0, are you hitting play? The pattern
parameters won't be restored until play the pattern. They are saved as
the very first events in the pattern, and won't be tramsitted until
playback.

Thanks for the comments, but this isn't what I mean (or I'm just very
ignorant).

This is the sequence:
1. Power up
2. Pattern 000-0 appears with Volume= 127 and Pan= 00 on all channels
and track.
3. I dial pattern 001-0 (which is an EMU programmed pattern). Then
switch back to 000-0. All settings of the 001-0 have been taken over
in 000-0.

Reverting doesn't solve it, because it leaves the data untouched (so
001-0 is still the same as 000-0).

Am I stupid or.....

And as for multisetups: should I then always save a pattern AND a
multisetup and later load both of them to use the data again?

I read the manual extensively (including the PDF-file for the OS
1.18) but I'm lost here.

Kind regards,
Richard
