well version 2.0.2 of Unisyn (Mac OS 9) works great. i've heard conflicting
things about the X version (2.1), that it is somewhat buggy in some modules,
but nothing specifically stating that version 2.1 has a buggy Command
Station editor/librarian module.

also finding version 2.1 in retail is nigh upon impossible - not sure why.
MOTU has it for $199, which i find to be high. but, if you program a lot or
do lots of patch swapping in and out of multiple synths (not worth it for
one instrument) i think one could justify the price. $99 to upgrade seems
excessive as well. i keep Mac OS 9 around because i can (and i've got about
$20,000 in software invested in Classic Macintosh software, not about to
ditch them entirely - some have no Mac OS X equivalents. :(
