Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I haven't posted in along time but fellaz I have a few questions 
about the grid recording feature inside of my MP-7. I've had it for 
about 9months now and been making some of the best hip-hop and dirty 
south tracks the world has ever heard but I'm look into more diverse 
recording ideas. I love making other styles of tracks(house, 
drum'n'bass, progressive stuff...)but I feel limited by the kits 
inside the Mo'Phatt ROM. Also I need some tips with grid recording 
and other ideas for other styles.
