I guess it depends on what the person was looking for, as no one ROM will suit everyone's needs. Actually if I was to recommend a ROM to try and fill the "all in one" role, it would be (no surprises) the Proteus Pop ROM. Lots of good all around sounds, from drums to synths. If someone was really into a drums, then the no-brainer for me would be the Protean Drum ROM. If you just want something different, then it would be the World Expedition ROM, though good luck in finding one! As for Rob Papen, I was never that impressed with any of this stuff to be honest. All his sound banks are virtual identical sounding (bland and boring IMVHO), just geared towards specific synths. rEalm so now my question for y'all: which P2K ROM would you recommend most highly to someone else, and why?
