That's a really good point, and sums up how I use mine exactly.  SX is 
nothing more than a glorified tape deck for me, but the PX-7, that thing 
you can actually play....

 computer sequencers are really just glorified tape recorders, in my 
opinion, as opposed to a well-designed hardware sequencer, which is more 
like a musical instrument.
