Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I want to mute all the tracks of my song and play only 1 at a time 
so I can extract each track to the computer in protools but I can't 
find a way to mute each track in song mode so I can only play one!
When I hit the track mute button in song mode, when it goes to the 
next pattern, that track comes up again!I found one way though, I 
just turned the volume down for each track I didn't want to be heard 
and I kept the volume of the track I wanted to be heard, at it's 
original velocity.Is that the way, since each track I turned down 
will go back to it's original velocity anyway as long as I don't 
save the song when I do it? Please help me with this!
