thanks for replying Well originally it was going to be 2 px7s one for orchestral, one for dance, but they are so cheap at the moment in the uk and looks like this will be the last chance to buy them...and then I went ROM crazy, filled up all but 1 of the 12 slots. the third was intended as a backup and I was using the p2k for those occasional roms...but the bug/issue has scuppered that idea, so now I need all 3 to have all the sounds available. It's the latest OS version by the way one more thing - I've got one of them loaded up with the 3 orchestra boards and the world ROM - but now I can't get a metronome sound at all!
