Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey there folks, in a previous post, someone mentioned that newer XX-
7 units had a modification to the SPDIF connector on the inside of 
the unit.  I recall hearing that some shielding was added.

Does anyone out there have a newer unit that has this modification?

If so, would you be so kind as to post some photographs of this 
modification?

I would imagine that the PX-7's probably have this mod.  My XL-7 
SPDIF output is so unreliable as to make it unuseable, and I really 
need it, so I'm thinking of adding my own internal shielding to try 
and help this thing out.
