   Thanks for the info Aaron, yeah filters are def quite hot on the Proteus 
based range.  Just found it rather odd that any other parts on that pattern 
where less likely to cause the spike.  Shame it's not likely to get addressed!

   It's not quite a bad as the older bug on the p2k, that would sometimes 
(give the effect of a ) change the cutoff randomly during playback, really 
annoying when trying to write a cd and get one good take ;)
