Re: Future OS upgrade

2004-03-13 by Marcello

The sales reps aren't always people "in the know". What they have on
the site is NOT all they had in stock the day before yesterday, as I
was able to order a "Composer" ROM (not listed on the site--I even
have a tracking number at this point and the package has shipped).

I was also told by someone in the know at EMU (not a sales rep) that
they are considering to make more PHATT ROMS based on customer demand
for them. Sure, E-MU may not be doing any more OS bug fixes and that
sort of thing (and it does suck), BUT the statement about the ROMS is
not true. Contact EMU and DEMAND the ROMS you want. Don't let a
questionable customer service rep give you the run around. They do
keep a record of customer comments so INSIST that your "rep" is
keeping a record of the ROMS you are demanding. From what the
gentleman at EMU told me, if enough people make some noise for the
ROMS they want, there is a good chance there will be positive
results. The ROM I want is the World ROM, but he told me that as of
today, there hasn't been much noise for it. However, he told me that
there is a good chance that they will be making more PHATT ROMS.

IMPORTANT:

****Oh, and BEKEN ONE, I purchased a PHATT ROM from audiomidigear on
ebay the other day for $148.00 plus 5 bucks shipping "buy it now"
price. I got mine from him quickly AND it was brand spankin' new.
Check this linky ASAP (there are about 2 days left). He is selling
out fast and I think this is a good immediate solution for your needs.
