     Actually you got it backwards.  All Emu gear (from the Proteus 1 onwards) has the RIGHT
channel as mono only and the LEFT channel doubles as a stereo out (with a TRS cable).  This of
course holds true if only one channel is used.

     Kurzweil is one of the few companies that has balanced/unbalanced outputs.

They are all stereo plugs, but are all unbalanced.  The left channel
doubles as mono, the right channel is a stereo jack (I think), and all
the subs are TRS send/receive.
