Not to rain on Matt's parade, but an even easier workaround is to make a "blank" user preset (i.e. one with all four instruments "none"). Put that preset on the channels you want to be silent. If you're feeling frisky, you can even make custom "external arp" presets like this. Simply assign none to all the instruments, assign an arp you like, then save the preset. Now when you call up that preset on an "both" track, you won't hear any internal sound but you'll get the arp you assigned played on your Virus. -Aaron --- Justin Grimley <grimley@...> wrote: > After I figured out I needed to connect a cable to the back of the > box to enable the sub outs, I was flying. > >> Route them to the sub outs and don't mute/disconnect these? >> >> -m@ >> >>> I have tracks 9-12 (virus) channel assign set to Dest:both >>> because I want to use the XL-7 arp to trigger the virus, but >>> I don't want the XL7 sounds to be heard on those tracks. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
