Matt, Changing presets without leaving mult-mode does not fix it. I have to switch to single mode and back to multi. As for the stray midi messages. This is what I originally thought was happening as I have a CC#11 at the start of every track on my default empty pattern. This is so that the pattern retains it's channel routings when I store it. However, erasing the tracks (holding erase and track number) still does not fix the problem.
