Hi all, here is my setup: mfb-synth lite analog bass korg electribe R Yamaha A 3000 Sampler Red Sound Darkstar XL-7 Midi tracker z-tracker so here is what I want: ( I´m a friend of an open and flexible system, no boring switching from one pattern to another) - bass figure from MFB should be transposed and muted in real time independent to other notes - drums should be muted in real time independent to other notes in a group relation - sound from darkstar should be muted independent to other notes - Electribe has its own sequencer (most live sequencer I know) - still the possibility to use the realtime record of XL-7 first of all I´m just sequencing in z-tracker every notes I need for all sounds in the track, it has 64 tracks and 256 Pattern easy to chain together, 2XMidiman offers a seperate Midi port just routed to XL-7, so no problems with incoming data to XL-7, cause it goes to another Midi port communicating with all my gears.(XL-7 sounds by its own sequencer) - so start with the bass figure, there would be the possibility to use different midi channels and to switch volumes, but no way its analog and receives no volume, so I have to get the bass track back to the XL-7 later and set another tranposed track to switch to, allright that works - drums are programmed in z-tracker, now I use multitrack from XL-7, there are two options setting volumes in step edit at 000.1 just at the initial pattern of a trigger pattern group and in the track, means settings get send to external in the track or by switching pattern, one main problem is the latency between z-tracker and Xl-7, that works good with drums, but not too good with tonal elements. - so say melodys (you know what I mean) must be coming from the master XL-7 and just by switching patterns and playing notes from XL-7 So thats the most possible open system I imagine with my gear, any ideas would be great. Besides is it possible to record multitracks by external multirecord, thanx, Christoph I don´t know where exactly to go if I turn on..... -- +++ NEU bei GMX und erstmalig in Deutschland: TÜV-geprüfter Virenschutz +++ 100% Virenerkennung nach Wildlist.
