BTW: I also sold the 505 as I still think the sounds are crap (just as the 
RM1x, excellent sequencer howver). Still own the 808Ex for excellent 
effects and vocoder.

I agree about the sp808 too.  For the money that little beast has some 
killer effects, those alone are worth the price of the box IMO.  That by 
far was the hardest piece of gear for me to sell, never crashed on me once 
either!  One of the most underrated pieces of gear ever. <<<
