Sorry, I think I caused some confusion in my own wording - 
by "ripping", I didn't mean actually taking every sample wired 
straight from the ROM - I was referring to making sample sets, which 
consists of recording them via analog and then re-EQing them. Not 
taking them precisely as-is, so to speak.
