Thanks for looking into this more Mike, I've been a bit too busy here to have a chance to delve into this one too deeply. Yes, the preset assignments you named are correct. I had meant to delete track 10, as it used a Preset from a different ROM, but I forgot to do it, oops. As for track 5, the only thing I did was enter step recording mode and hit that crash key once, that's it. Interesting though, my next step will be to try copying that track/preset to another Pattern and see if it still causes problems. rEalm I found out something else about your pattern. It seems that track 5 (cym. ride) is the culprit. If you mute that track before playing the pattern, everything's normal. Unmute it, or solo it, and the problem returns. When I loaded your pattern, I have note data on tracks 1, 3, 5, 7, and synth (PROM card) on 10. (Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything when I downloaded it. I noticed there were presets assigned to the other tracks, just no note info.) Did you do something different when you recorded track 5 vs. the others?
