I have gone to the XL-7 and tried the things that you sugested in reguards to the fx routing and it full out works. I had actualy tried changing the fx settings on the 7 but I discounted it when I did not see a instant change in the E5000. I now reolize that what I was failing to rember was that this information is only sent when the pattern is switched (smart). Now that I see how it works it is actualy verry smart and simple, good work you guys. And it seems that the pattern that was constantly sticking seems to have sorted it's self out for the most part. There is only an occasonal slight swell that happens once and a wile but some times as often as 60 seconds apart. Now this I don't understand becouse I swear that it was a total mess yesterday. It must have been sompting to do with turning it off and on. This is all i did, there was no editing done to the pattern. So i don't understand the OS in that well so i leave speculation to the people that know. At one time had a burning desire to fully understand all the innerworkings of the gear i use but at this point in my life I just want to make music, ya know what i mean? I am trying with all my witts to have a flexable but stream lined studio and the 7 is helping me do this. It is just taking some time on my end as well as yours. I thank you for helping me out with the problems that I have been having. I would like you to know that I apreciate that you are willing to help myself and others here out with your knowledge and resorces. Thank you Mike
