Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I wondered the same thing before I bought the xl-7.  So I compared 
the tech specs in the back of the xl-7 and 2500 manuals.  They were 
identical in every respect with the exception of sequencer data which 
was listed for the 2500 but not for the xl-7.

So my guess, for what it's worth, which is absolutely nothing, is 
that the only discernable difference between the 2500 and 2000 
engines is the 2500 has a buffed up sequencer.  In fact I seem to 
recall reading in some other source that it's like three times faster?

By the way for any Emu techs out there looking for ideas for the 3000 
how about a couple of virtual VCOs to go along with my virtual LFOs 
and filts.  Better still put them in a 2000 upgrade heh.
