Re: [xl7] PX7 Slow down?

2004-02-16 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I might notice a very slight delay in response if I have a complex pattern
playing, but nothing too bad. Never stopped me from doing what I was
trying to do in otherwords.

Hello,

I bought my PX7 last week because of the hype of the blow out at
Guitar Center. I plan to sequence my synths with it, and make some
beats.

Has anyone recorded a patterm and while twirling the control knobs
experience the PX7 slowing down. There was a major lag time when you
hit the button switching the mode from quick edit to volume to pan.
You could hit the button several times fast and it would take a few
seconds for the switch to occur. Has this happened with anyone else,
or is there something wrong with my machine?

P.S. My Audity 2000 a few times in the past during startup would say
NVRAM erased. Something like that. What could have been the problem.
Could this problem be from not having pluuged the synth and turning
it on for a while? The problem hasn't occured for a while. Just
hoping I don't have to replace a battery, though the screen is not as
bright as my PX7.
