Yes, you can only use 4 layers to assign drum sounds, BUT you can also 
link up to 2 other presets to that one (in Preset Edit mode).  This in 
effect gives you 12 layers/sounds to play with.

hello, i got a mp-7 today and havebeen having fun with it so far.
 
I amconfused though. It looks as if i can build my own drum kits from the 
mp7's single drum hits, but it looks like i can only use 4 per preset! 
(one per layer)
 
Is this th case or have i just got the wrong end of the stick?
