The V-Station (one instance of it) is the same as a K-Station. But you can have four instances running at once, which makes it the same as a KS-synth (KS-rack, KS-4 and KS-5). The difference is that the KS is four times a K-Station. It is 16 voices polyphonic instead of the 8 voices of a K-Station.
