thats what it was about, to get close to a special sound i know from another instrument, i didnt thought that its gonna sound exactly equal. >>>Well you could certainly still go for it. The biggest problem I see, is that waveform pictures you see in Hydra are only of a single duty cycle of the waveform. Any image you get from the XX-7's will be much, much more complex and larger. Might be possible still, but I still think you'll spend a ton of time on it and not get close, might betterto use that time just making up new XX-7 patches :) <<< whats happend to the soundfile [patch] exchange, i didnt found nothing around here, either on other synth pages with file exchange. are xx7 users unwilling to share their sound programing? >>>I was going to post a bunch of mine, but when I was going through them and sorting them out, I realized most of them used instruments from multiple ROMs. So they would only be good to someone who has an XL-7, PX-7, and P2500 ROM all installed in their machine. I "MIGHT" have enough that are just XL-7 based, but then only XL-7 people can use them :) <<< i would like to spread some of my sounds to know what the people think about them, and this way maybe learn some more, from other programers with different styles and experiences? >>>I'm always down to listen to stuff like that, so if you have some patches, send them my way and I'll tell you what I think :) Provided I have the same ROM as you of course, and there's the rub. <<< rEalm The information transmitted is intended only for the person(s)or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or legally privileged material.
