Well I finally figured it all out! Controller 11 (Expression) seems to work fine. I have one short event at the start of each track. The only problem is if I want to erase a track I have to paste the controller from another "empty" track. I did have one problem that just took me several hours to figure out, and the strange thing is I have had the same problem before but couldn't remember how to fix it ... In the grid record mode changing the note via the pads did not change the note value in the record screen or on the synth itself. It kept playing c3. Finally figured out I needed to set "Dest:both" in the channel assign screen in the Pattern edit menu for every track I want to send to an external synth. -grimley --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Justin Grimley" <grimley@i...> wrote: > Thanks critten and rEalm ..
