And you use the XL-7 as the sequencer. It's the only way to overcome the sync in slave mode problem of the ES-1. I used to won the ER - EA - ES Electribes. And had them all daisy chained on midi A out going ER to EA to ES last in the line. Seriously it does make for a rather funky little sound module set up with a good sequencer this way. Also take a look at www.five.com (I think that's the link) for Numerology. The step sequencers in this proggy can be used to control all the E-tribes nrprn specific knobs (no more single/dual motion sequencer lines there). There is a very whacked out demo of an ER-1 sequenced thios way. Trust me you wont believe your ears. Oh and trust me after using your ES with the XX-7 in this fashion you won't go back.
