Well I think Emu already said they would have a new OS out around NAMM, but I don't know about new filters. ;I'm guessing we'll see some more bug fixes (pattern lengths can't be less than one measure, notes being stuck when recorded over measures with record quantize on, etc). I'd also wager the new OS will make the USB port function, and that a new version of E-Loader will be released to take advantage of that too (Preset saving as well?). New features wish list?
1. Hmmm, it'd be cool to see a field in the "Paste Clipboard" screen that let you specify the amount of times to paste.
2. A way to select whether Paste commands Overwrite or Merge the MIDI Data. Both of these features (#1 above) would save me so much time! Nothing like trying to copy measure 3 through out an 8 measure previously recorded pattern. You've got to cut the data you don't want twice, then copy the measure you do want. Then you've got to paste, scroll, scroll, paste 7 times :)
3. Hmm, a warning notice if you're about to overwrite a preset that's linked to another one.
4. A graphical Preset Editor for the PC, although I know that's pushing it :)

Well, the big US NAMM show is in a little more than a week. Anyone
care to speculate on what EMu (or anyone else for that matter) will
be showing that is new and shiny?
