Re: [xl7] Slow Wah Wah Guitar Effect

2004-01-13 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Basically, you want to use the "EQ+ and Bandpass type" filters to emulate
the sound of the wah pedal. I don't know what filter to recommend
(haven't tried this yet), but play around with them and you should find
one that will be close to what you want. Adjust the Resonance to suit,
and you can tweak the knob just liek you were stepping on a pedal. If you
set up the Filter envelopes, you can approximate an "auto wah" too.

Try these filters:
- Contraband
- Swept1>1Oct
- Earbender

I have a proteus rom installed in my mp. It's got wah wah guitar effects.
Someone mentioned using filters to get that slow wah effect that I am
looking for. Can anyone explain how to go about it? I'm clueless in
Dallas. Thanks.
