This functionality may be possible for Cakewalk users. A user in another E-Mu group has designed a StudioWare panel that allows users to edit SOME preset parameters. I have suggested some other panels. I think a global command [master menu] panel would be possible. I have suggested that he post the panel here for the benefit of other Cakewalk users here. He has made some changes and will probably post it here (or I will, with permission) after it is refined. BTW: I briefly tested the 1st version of the panel. With it (for example), you can alter envelope parameters in real-time, filter changes, etc. and have the corresponding sysex parameters recorded in your track. (Possible limitation: I believe this will only work with the basic channel.) Also, if anyone remembers my Randomizer and Parametizer projects (proposed/discussed last summer), I am hoping these can be realized via StudioWare panels. Anyone here into designing StudioWare panels and willing to coordinate efforts?
