I use the mp7 and it happened to me as well. And some other things 
like glitches, wierdly exchanged presets in a pattern after 
restarting the mp7 etc. I find this  extremely annoying too and from 
my experiences and what you can read on this website I am loosing 
confidence in emu gear, even if emu reps turn out to be very helpful 
here. Sometinmes I wonder if I am missing something even after 
reading the whole manual or if I am simply facing a bug. I demoed the 
RS7000 last weekend: Rock solid, very easy to use but I can´t put up 
with the sounds. I wish I could find a machine with the user 
friendlyness and logical interface of the RS7000 and the wonderful 
sounds and hardware of the emu XX7. Well thats my two cents anyway... 
Someone to comfort me?
