I have noticed some similar loud popping sounds on my xl-1 with beat garden when: Syncing to MIDI clock then changing presets while auditiong. The pops are very loud and seem to be related to the effects. I checked and my system was setup to use the effects settings on channel 1, so when chnainging these presets, I was changing global effect types as well. Maybe setting the master option to a global efect setting (not using a particular midi channel as the source of effect settings) is the fix? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "dj 61" <dj61@d...> wrote: > I thought the same and figured it was an isolated instance when the > post was made.
