I thought the same and figured it was an isolated instance when the post was made. I have Created several patterns and then created songs and replaced some of the drums in older patterns. I have been using it for over a month no problem. But then it hits pop after pop. This was on the broken 8-bit (I don't think it should be that broken!) in x-mix. I believe this is one of the ones listed in the original post. I know it is not the samples because they have been used must be a certain set of conditions maybe a combination with certain effects settings. I would imagine this would case a little caos live, although I guess you could just glare at the soundman (person). (Just kidding sound guys/gals):p --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "faxorgy" <Oscar_Finch@e...> wrote: > This must be a problem with the rom. > Are you sure you hands weren't charged with static when installing. > I ordered the Xtreme Lead ,Vintage pro and Protean Drum roms from > Emu via phone here in Australia (arrived within 5 days I might > add) ;). > The Drum rom on my Mp-7 works 100% ,no pops or any strange > idosyncratic problems what so ever. > So it definately is not the ROM samples themselves but something > else causing troubles.
