RE: [xl7] Aaron should make us a new XX-7 OS because....

I have an E-MU Ultra with RFX, and the RFX responds to CC messages to
control fx parameters and fx levels. I used to have a Doepfer Regelwerk
which I could use to send CC messages (of a preset value) by pressing a
button, which would instantly change the fx. Using knobs doesn't give the
same effect as there is always a slight 'fade-in', and you can press
multiple buttons together, whereas you can only twist 2 knobs at one time...

On the XX-7 it would be useful for changing the Mix Output parameter on the
fly (CC79), or maybe the Arp Status (cc80) plus anything else you might
want.

Regards,

Stu

Of course! For what would you use this out of curiousity?
