Hmm, I'll have to look at my receipt for the exact date I bought it, but 
it was right before they went to $999.00, so probably close to 3 years

How old is your XL7?  What year did you buy it?  Just to get an idea of 
how
old the circuitry is, what hardware revision it may be that sort of thing.
