Err...no sure where you got the Hats things from, not following you.  The 
Delay Setting in the Preset menu adjust how long after you press a key 
that the sound will start. 

Anyway, yeah Effect 2 is always a delay of some sort on my machine, and 
Send 1 is always a Reverb (Warm or Perfect usually)

Oh, so you were refering to using a seperate preset for the hats and 
using the effect sends for the delay, huh? Any recommended settings 
for this as a starting point?
