Re: [xl7] So what's everyone using their XX-7's for anyway?

mine is racked up, synced to cubase and i use it mainly as a sound module.
i use alot of the arps and preset patterns, but change the preset sounds.
usually i send it to a distortion effect on send one and i use an old school
boss digital pitchshifter/delay for send two. all of it goes through a dbx
compressor and into the layla. i hate midi so i record my tracks into
cubase as i go...different variations of each loop, usally like four
measures. i chop them up later and do whatever sounds good. my only other
gear is waldorf micro q. minimal and simple, but effective.
