They will play as kits.

That is true, but remember your SuperBeat is playing back one preset,
thus the MIDI data was recorded under those constraints. Xl-7 sequences
are designed for Multiple channels.

Hours of re-work. SuperBeats are a single preset with 4 layers. Layout
example: L1 kit, L2 percussion, L3 bass, L4 lead. This layers are spread
across a keyboard in their own key ranges, i.e., c2-B2, C3-B3, etc. The
Beat Sequences were created and limited with those key ranges in mind.
Patterns from Xl-7 are 16 tracks, each with its own preset (4 layers)
and not limited to any set key range.
Even with re-work the end result would most likely not match.
