xl-7 patterns

I have an XL rom in my MP-7. The XL-7 patterns do not recognize the 
presets. Do I just download the XL presets in the files bank to 
correct this? I assume I have to install as user, right. I am new to 
e-loader if anyone has any tips. I just did the OS2 update and 
download patterns last night. Thanks for your help.
