I certainly DON'T want to interpool the signals sent between midi devices with a simple solder job. It's not smart at all. Secondly, the logic here is all wrong. You're just cramming the same data into 1 1/2 cables. All you're avoiding is the delay caused by midi thru. A midi splitter is a much smarter choice here. $35 or less on ebay. -m@
