I don't think it's really going to be too hard to decide on that controls should be, the hard part is going to be making everyone agree to them. I mean, take a look at any synth today, and more or less they all have the same controls with only a couple of oddballs. I think a bank of 36 knobs and 8 quality faders would sort you out for almost all synths. rEalm We've discussed this topic considerably at the ampfea.org music bar.
