The RAVE ACT = major BS. same with the patriot act. Bush is even trying to get rid of overtime for employees. Why is it so easy for this type of legislation to purvey itself? I guess I'm really asking why are people so stupid and easily manipulated. Drugs need to be legal, and kids need to be taught about them, not just that they are bad. Anytime you make something taboo it becomes elusive and exiting, thus: tons of america's youth get WAY too into alcohol and drugs, when they otherwise may have only been a social drinker, and maybe puffed a little grass instead of getting into methamphetamines and other hard drugs. This lack of education is driving me crazy. Charging and owner of a club for his patrons disregard for the law is wack. www.ultraworld.net/fightthepower.html good site outlining one promoters battle with the gov. to have good music and good fun. bottom line = I work hard all week. I deserve to go out and stay out as late as I want listening to the music I like in my free time. No government has the right to tell me I have to go home at 2AM, or that I can't go out and listen to electronic music, becuase they've decided that no one can enjoy it without drugs. We need to represent and quit allowing stupid people to ruin it for the rest of us. Hard drugs don't belong in public. Screw all these new laws that are stripping us of our basic freedoms one by one. Please people, spread the word, if enough people know the score then we will prevail. And it's not just the electronic scene that's in trouble, your right to have fun on the weekends is at stake, before long, I wouldn't be surprised to find the U.S. equivelent of Nazi Germany's S.S. men at the entrance to every neighborhood and apartment complex searching your vehicle and questioning your destination every time you leave the house. It could get that bad if we keep allowing the government to take freedom away from us in the very name of protecting it. Sorry for the rant, but this is important. I feel like my hometown, Atl., has been shot and killed. it's like, happy new year, party's over, now go home, it's 2AM, and it's past your bedtime. I am an adult and I like to drink, and I like to stay out late while I'm sobering up. Is that so wrong? --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
