|Worst case scenario you can take apart a MIDI cable and I believe 
|it's pins 4 and 5 that are 0 & 1 (on and off) and you can solder 
|'two' jumpers to each one, thereby doubling the output capacity of 
|that cable.  

Have you ever actually done this?
