I haven't done E-Mu sysex in months, but I seem to recall that there are no sysex transport functions available via regular sysex or by remote control sysex. You might be able to do it via remote sysex by paging through menus and cursor positions (button/knob simulation). I used this technique with two test projects: (1) automatically ramdomizing and saving a bank of presets (2) automatically storing multisetups in specific locations. The pattern view will allow you to cue the next pattern. 1. Place cursor under Next Pat value 2. Rotate the main knob 3. Press enter When the current pattern finishes, the queued pattern will start. That's basically it. If you have done remote control sysex programming, it shouldn't be too difficult. It may just take some time to develop the right algorithm for your needs. If you haven't, it will probably take a while. Caveat: I have done remote control programming on the P2500, but from what I can see it should be the same under any E-Mu running OS2.0. Footnote: I am in much need of income, so if you are interested in contracting out the programming, I would be happy to work on the project. (Contact me privately.) Hope this helps. --Dr. Steve
