thanks Realm- i have masked off and painted a few boards, but would like the xl7 to look better than those projects. i am a silkscreener by day, so i think i can do this. did you have a print out of the face from the manual(the part you had screened?). >>>Hit me back privately for more info. <<< i may just be lazy and buy the grey unit.though i feel i have enough drum samples for a lifetime. is the new rom that diff./ unique than other drums on roms? i like electronic more than organic sounding drums. >>>The new ROM is mostly for the acoustic kits, which are much, much better. IF you only use electronic sounding drums, there's not a whole lot different, but there are some subtle things. Do a search in this groups archives for "Protean Drum ROM review" to see my lengthy post about this. <<< i will look into custom screening if any one else is interested i am in Mpls.,Mn. USA. >>> The place where I got mine done will give discounts for bulk orders, but he asked that all order be submitted by myself. He's a smaller shop and doesn't want to deal with shipping boxes all over the world. If enough people are interested, I'd be happy to be the middle man on this one. <<< rEalm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The information transmitted is intended only for the person(s)or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or legally privileged material.
