Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey group

I was inside my XL-7 today trying to replace some of my parts that 
have gone all crappy and found a couple of odd things.  The first one 
was this conector that looks kinda like a network conector on the 
board that has all the step sequencer buttons on it.

Second and more interesting is a button that sits to the bottom right 
of the small display.  It is the same as all the other buttons on the 
board.  I would love to know what this is for. I am tempted to just 
open the thing back up and press it just to find out but hey there is 
no harm in asking first.


I put a picture of it up in my pics folder, take a look and see what 
you think.  And I also put a big picture of one of the boards up in 
there it is taking up alot of space so I don't think i will leave it 
there to long so go get it and let me know if you like it as I have 
another one that I was thinking about playing with.
